My experience in the health and wellness industry is extensive. I graduated from Norwich University in 2002 with a Bachelor of Science in Sports Medicine and a minor in Coaching. In 2012, I received my Associates of Science in Nursing from Laboure College and in 2014, my Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Grand Canyon University. This broad exposure to the health-care industry revealed one true passion, which is to assist others in their quest for a healthier lifestyle. I loved working as a nurse but with two little children at home, my priorities have changed. As a Mom, maintaining a healthy lifestyle and leading by example for my children rekindled my passion for coaching, which drove me to get my certifications as a Personal Trainer through AFAA and as a Run Coach through UESCA.
Following in my father’s footsteps, I’ve run nine full marathons, along with countless 5K and Ragnar races. I truly believe the great joy of running is there for the taking when one learns to train correctly. I understand not everyone will possess this love but it can be more enjoyable than anyone realizes!
